I’m relaxed. I’m steady. I’m reading "the green mile" , a Stephen King novel about an innocent man who has healing powers. He will soon be fried by good ‘ol sparky. I’m on flight JAL 745. From Narita Tokyo airport going to Manila International airport. The old man next to me seems pretty quiet. The kids on my left side, all four or five of them, seems to be behaving the way they should. They are playing, and given their limited space, appear to be running around. Every now and then one of big kids, a chinese looking boy of about 10 belts out a loud "ehhhh!!!" whenever he wins in their games. I think they were playing cards or something. Was it "Uno"? I don’t know.
In my time, we used to play "Supertrump", cards which feautured cars, planes and tanks. Now THAT was a cool card game. Anyway, I jump up every time that kid belts that yell from hell. I almost want to get up my chair and tell the kid to tone it down a little. hahaha. Am I getting too old? Oh well, I manage to stop myself and let the kids be kids. I’m fine. I’m going home to Manila. Its my daughter’s birthday!
